David of D3 Productions is a great DJ and good friend with has over 20 years of experience is his craft. He began his career by performing at local clubs and college parties, which led into birthday parties, retirement parties, fundraisers, corporate events, and weddings. Although he specializes in Old School and R&B, David’s vast collection of music covers every music genre from Big Band, Classic Rock-n-Roll, Country, Salsa, Disco to Hip Hop.

- What does D3 Productions bring to it’s customers? We pride ourselves on providing professional yet personalized service, very meticulous in detail and we emphasize on fun!
- When did you know you wanted to be a DJ? When I was in high school, watching my friends DJ, I truly enjoy playing music for people, creating a fun and “club like” atmosphere so that people can dance the night away.
- Where did you train for this discipline? Just picked it up on my own, practiced a lot, started playing a local clubs, then transitioned into the wedding industry.
- When did you start your business? Started it in 2001
- What is your favorite thing about being in this business? Seeing couples start a new chapter of their lives together and providing a service that allows people to let loose and just have some fun…just dance!

- What would a party be like in your home? Diverse crowd, eclectic food, and a variety of music from Old School R&B to Hip Hop to Classic Rock to Salsa.
- What questions should a Bride in Groom ask when interviewing a DJ for their wedding? What is your style of deejaying? Do you mix or fade in/fade out? Do you emcee? If so, how much time do you spend on the mic throughout the night? How would you handle music requests from guests that the bride and groom have already asked you not to play under any circumstances? Do you seek approval from bride and groom about impromptu announcements before making them? What is your rapport like with other vendors while working an event together?
- Where do you draw your inspiration from? Music, I love music, I love playing music, I love being a DJ at home and just playing around with beats, matching them and just putting together great mixes that I think people would enjoy and dance to.
